Shop Local & Support Small Businesses
I love local, small businesses. They make streets distinctive and neighborhoods become more lively and interesting to explore. During a visit you can discover a new coffee shop or charming store, run into neighbors, or find a dog seeking a friendly scratch behind the ears. Supporting a local business makes me feel more connected to my neighborhood and I like the idea that I keep it vibrant.
Local businesses also support local artists, like me. So here’s a little shoutout to these stores that allow me to show my work. They are in Chicago, Oklahoma City and Dixon. Visit them if you are near one. Each has its distinct collection and vibe, but what they all share is the presence of incredibly kind and wonderful owners and staff.
If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry - you can always place an online order. I enjoy dropping off your orders to the nearby post office. And on these walks through my neighborhood, I might stumble upon a coffee shop, new store, or encounter a dog in need of a gentle ear scratch. And I get inspired by something that caught my attention, you never know.
